Qualcomm
I came across Qualcomm on Super Punch.
Qualcomm has unveiled a revolutionary new technology to improve digital networks: implanting tiny base stations in pigeons.
However, as pigeons are a little vulnerable, Qualcomm spliced pigeon and wolf DNA to create wolfpigeons.

Unfortunately, wolfpigeons breed like crazy. Qualcomm has solved this problem with sharkfalcons, which prey on the wolfpigeons.

To keep the sharkfalcon population at bay - crocodeagles.

Brilliant. Check out Qualcomm's website for further information.

Drank, 'cause that's how I roll
The Giant Bomb guys were talking about Drank on their latest Bombcast. Drank is another terrible sounding addition to the already saturated 'lifestyle' drink market.
So what's the deal with Drank? According to its website it's "[t]he first EXTREME RELAXATION drink to hit the market."

And now for the drink's tag line: "Just slow your roll." Amazing, I got to get me some of this stuff.

Calendars
While scrolling through Super Punch today, a humorous blog title caught my eye: Hot Blogger Calender. I was about to click on the link, when I noticed this totally awesome link near the bottom of the post: *Previously: Animals that will kill yo a$$ calendar.

This has got to be the coolest calendar ever. If only I had found this before Christmas. It would have made the ultimate stocking filler.
I was so distracted by the Animals that will kill yo a$$ calendar, I never made it to Hot Blogger. Shame.

How about a bit of Ben Franklin?
Super Punch is always full of such cool stuff. Check out these two great Benjamin Franklin images.

In defense of teasing
I'm a big fan of teasing. It's part of the national psyche in New Zealand. In fact, I wouldn't know how to interact with many of my friends if teasing was out of question. I think today's NYTimes magazine feature In Defense of Teasing is spot on.

Drama on Apple Support
There is nothing quite as morbidly fascinating as a slice of drama from someone else's life. I came across a link today on Super Punch to an Apple Support forum thread. The subject of the thread is a request from a woman who is testing the credibility of her husband's explanation of why his iPhone history shows he sent a raunchy picture of himself to another woman. I couldn't stop reading the thread. It had it all - drama, intrigue, humour, sadness. It's the web support page answer to Wife Swap. I hope things work out for Susan042764.

Covers that would have been run if Obama had lost
Here's the cover the Chicago Reader created in case McCain won.

Here's the cover that the Reader did run.
